Flex lay systems

Flex lay systems are the quickest way of installing flowlines and risers, and increasingly also used to recover pipe for decommissioning activities.

J-Lay systems

Our J-lay towers are capable of laying rigid pipes of diameters up to 36” on the sea bed. They are mainly deployed in deeper water, and more remote locations.

We design and deliver complete S-lay systems for rigid pipes with diameters up to 70”, suitable for shallow to ultra-deep water.

Reel lay systems

Reel lay systems are the quickest method of deploying rigid pipeline. The variable angle lay tower makes it suitable for operation in shallow to deep water.

Upgrades

Our skilled team at Royal IHC have an extensive in-depth knowledge of pipelay systems, and are very well placed to engineer and install upgrades and modifications to any existing pipelay system. This includes, but is not limited to upgrading PLET handling systems to handle heavier or larger PLETs, upgrading hang off system capacity or automation, adding moonpool centralisers, introducing buoyancy handling systems and much more.
